Throw Back Thursday: Day Break

Day Break

Day Break 1

A fool dies sleeping

A wise man in bed

Young ladies die reeling

Old maids in their head

Clouds burst

Wisps first

Stars plummet

All dispersed

Greeting made in fire

Tempests blow desire,

Winds snake, all admire

David plays on his lyre

Seeing beauty

Breaking duty

Making levies

to keep away the rain.

All is calm.

All is sane.

Yet holding

Pow’r, I sing.

Facing giants

Making mistakes

Life’s to be lived

Run ’til the day breaks.
